The best paintball players and teams from throughout Europe and the world gather five times a year to compete in
Europe's premiere pro/am tournament series-the Millennium. Its
popular X-Ball Lite format pits teams against each other in a race to
five points where every second counts both on the field and in the
staging pit. Choosing the right marker is critical, and the Philly
Dogs shoot the Luxe because it performs on the field, and offers
lightning fast maintenance and adjustment for fast turn-around between
game points.

Sixteen teams make up the Millennium's CPL league, the toughest
paintball competition in Europe. Although the Philly Dogs had a rough
start early in the year, a second place finish in Toulouse helped
their ranking tremendously. On the weekend of September 5th and 7th,
the team was ready to take advantage of that momentum. They brought
their A game to Nurburgring, Germany.

Tim Montressor, Craig "Fatty" Daugherty, Todd Hugo, Jason Edwards, and
Konstantin Federov gave a solid performance through the tournament's
preliminary rounds, coached by Jason Trosen, this round included a 5-2
win over the Budapest Bullets which had power players Pete "Mr. U"
Utshig and Oliver Lang on its roster. Moving up through the
tournament's rounds, everything came down to a finals game against
league leader, Joy Division. With a 5-2 victory, the Philly Dogs
became the tournament champions, moving higher in the quest for series
championship what will be decided at the Millennium Series Paris
tournament in October.

"It was a great win," said Tim Montressor, "We started shooting the
Luxe this spring, and it has been amazing. Shot after shot is right on
target, they are so fast to clean and prep that it's not even funny.
Nurburgring was great. The Millennium Series puts on a good
tournament, and the guys from Consilium Dei and Syndicate were great
hosts, practicing with us on their home fields while we got warmed
up."
