| The AXBL is pleased to announce that it will be continuing its All-Star program for the upcoming 2008 season. The All-Star format will be slightly modified for the 2008 season facilitating what we believe will be even more exciting and spectacular matches.
The AXBL All-Star matches will be played on Saturday June 12th during Event 3 of the regular season. Official All-Star Captains will be chosen from the top franchise in each conference from the previous season. These Captains will be responsible for choosing the remainder of the All-Star squad. Each franchise will be allotted representative spots for the All-Star matches according to their seeding from the previous season*. Franchises seeded 1 through 4 will receive 2 spots while franchises seeded 5 through 8 will receive 1 spot.
As is customary with the AXBL, each All-Star player receives at no charge an official custom sublimated All-Star jersey. Paint is also provided at no charge. All-Star matches utilize a round robin format to determine, at the end, which conference is “best”.
