A friend of a friend’s roommate from college told me there is a field in Florida that seems to be planning to host a REAL Bambi-Hunt.

The information I received is that the field is a new one, just opening up, called something like Vortex Springs paintball, and that they are planning on hosting a Bambi hunt on Labor Day weekend.

Rumor has it that there will be prizes for either the hunters or the hunted; the hunted will win if they manage to negotiate an obstacle course without being hit.  The hunters will win if they 'bag' a target.

I'm hearing rumors also that a casting call has gone out in the region, looking for attractive women willing to wear a bikini and maybe get shot, and that they are looking for guys who are willing to wear speedos and get shot...this might be something for Dale to look into, since his back hair would catch paint coming his way.  Granted, he’s not exactly attractive, but I suppose that’s in the eye of the beholder.

I'm positive this isn't a prank - the people I heard this from assured me that 'Bambi Hunts are the way to really make money at a paintball field, they're raking in thousands at some field in Arizona doing it...'

Apparently they don't know that the Las Vegas games were a PR prank...
