Since their release at  the PSP Paintball World Cup last fall, paintball players around the world have been discovering the advantages of the affordable electropneumatic paintball markers, the Vibe and SP-1. A new series of videos available at SmartParts.com clearly illustrates some of the less-obvious advantages found in these markers.

"The response to the Vibe and SP-1 has been overwhelming," says Smart Parts Vice-President Adam Gardner. "Those of us who have played - and won - paintball tournaments at the professional, and even amateur levels, know and understand the distinct advantages inherent to electropneumatic paintguns. When we released the Ion, we brought those benefits to the regular player. Now the Vibe and SP-1 put them within the financial reach of even first time players, whether they prefer a Speedball style game, or scenarios in the woods."

The same features that make these markers ideal for new players, also
lend them to use as the perfect field rental marker. For the field
owner, affordability is important, but not the only factor in stocking
their rental fleet. Because the Vibe and SP-1 use an integrated bolt
and exhaust valve, complete disassembly and cleaning of the bolt and
valve systems takes only seconds, and involves a minimum of parts (3
for the Vibe, 4 parts and 2 screws for the SP-1,) compared to
competing products which have a dozen or more small screws, assorted springs, pins and sears to negotiate during maintenance. Their
flexibility in operating on either CO2 or compressed air makes upgrade
HPA rentals a viable option.

"Unfortunately, to the newer player who has never fired a high-end
tournament marker, or possibly had no paintball experience at all,
reading phrases like 'smooth operation,' and 'electropneumatic' is not
the same as experiencing the difference between a true
electropneumatic paintgun and the shake and recoil found in typical
entry level markers that operate with heavy spring and hammer designs left-over from the 1980s," said Gardner.

To that end, Smart Parts has begun releasing a series of short videos
that clearly demonstrate the advantages of the Smart Parts Vibe and
SP-1 electropneumatic paintball markers.  These videos, hosted by the
people who design, build and maintain these markers, utilize simple
tests to show the significant performance advantages these paintguns
have over their similarly priced competitors.

For players who have wondered how smoothly the SP-1 fires, how
effective the Vibe's anti-chop system is, or whether the SP-1's
electronic circuits can handle a rainstorm, these videos provide
immediate answers.

The first three videos have been released, available under the video
tab in the Vibe and SP-1 sections of SmartParts.com (Adobe Flash and
good Internet connection speed required) and will be supplemented in
the following weeks with additional videos covering topics ranging
from gas efficiency and effective use of CO2, to reliability and ease
of maintenance.
