With over 70 vendors, 214 teams and the largest crowds expected in NPPL history-the 2008 Huntington Beach NPPL event is shaping up to be the greatest event in the history of the sport.

This weekend will mark by far the largest NPPL tradeshow ever with over 70 paintball companies and out-of-industry sponsors. The interactive tradeshow will include a public field where spectators can see what all the fun is about by playing paintball in their street clothes at the MightyArena with simulated paintballs.

This year's tradeshow will also be loaded with vendors giving away plenty of FREE Stuff. Rockstar, The official Energy Drink of the NPPL, will be making sure everyone is loaded up with plenty of Rockstar. Chick-Fil-A will be handing out tasty treats, Kern's Nectar will be giving away free nectar drinks, and HeadBlade will be handing out everything from shaving cream to a free head shave!

The league will be introducing many new elements into the event this season, including a Pro Autograph Zone where fans can eagerly gather at any time throughout the weekend to catch a glimpse of the Pros and obtain an autograph or two. The NPPL Store will be selling jerseys from many of our professional teams through out the weekend, so fans may purchase a jersey and have their favorite players sign it in the Pro Autograph Zone.

Also new this year is the Preferred Dealer Program where store and field owners can register with the NPPL to gain VIP access to the greatest paintball event on earth. The response from the industry has been overwhelming with over 75 dealers already registered.

There will be no down time on Center Court at this event as between all the playing action with the world's top paintball teams, there will also be promotional matches played between popular radio DJs and their listeners on Saturday and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County's on Sunday.

This will also be the first NPPL event to host a "Pump Guns Only" division. Playing all of their games on Sunday, 27 teams sold out this division within a week of registration opening. Be sure to check out a few of these games to see how many of today’s professionals started playing paintball.

Of course if you aren't able to attend what will soon be known as one of the greatest paintball events of all time, you can still catch plenty of behind-the-scenes action for free by watching our live webcast through www.NPPL.com. The webcast will once again be hosted by our favorite Brit, Nicky Truter, and will contain interviews from all your favorite pro players. You can even ask the questions by emailing in to the commentators from the webcast page. The webcast page has undergone many upgrades since 2007, including the addition of an up-to-minute schedule of what games will be played and who will be interviewed that day. Game footage from Center Court will run live, all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday so be sure to tune in for free and tell your friends and family as well!
